Dry vs. Wet
We recommend dry use for most pool resurfacing projects because it’s simple and cost-effective. Any quality 7″ variable-speed polisher with GFCI or cordless works. Wet use can extend disc life, but requires specialized water-fed equipment.
⚠️ Safety: Keep RPM ≤ 3,500. Avoid overheating. Always use GFCI protection and proper PPE.
Also available in 50 Grit and 120 Grit.
70 Grit Pool Plaster Disc — Dry Polishing & Resurfacing
The 70 grit pool plaster disc follows 50 grit to refine scratches and blend surfaces on marble, quartz (Diamond Brite), and pebble (PebbleSheen) finishes. Safe for saltwater pools thanks to a non-corrosive diamond matrix. Finish with 120 grit for a smooth, swim-ready surface. See the Pool Plaster Disc Grit Guide for details.
