How to Use

  • Dry Use Recommended – no water required
  • Use a 7" variable-speed sander polisher with a max RPM of 3000.
  • Work in Small Sections: about 5 × 5 ft at a time
  • Residue Control: vacuum or rinse between passes to prevent heat buildup
  • Backer Pad: use with 7″ hook & loop backer pad (MA7529)

Recommended 3-Step Process

  1. Start with 50 grit for initial heavy scale removal.
  2. Move to 70 grit to refine and smooth the surface.
  3. Finish with 120 grit for the best underfoot feel and long-lasting smoothness.

Dry Use vs. Wet Use

Dry use recommended for simplicity and cost control with a standard 7″ variable-speed polisher and GFCI. Wet grinding can extend disc life but requires specialized water-fed equipment and a water supply.

Why Non-Corrosive?

Unlike metal-bond pads, these discs use a non-corrosive diamond matrix that won’t rust or stain, making them safe for standard and saltwater pools while maintaining consistent cutting power.

Most pool owners and contractors prefer dry use because it requires only a standard 7″ variable-speed polisher with GFCI protection, or a cordless model — no expensive water-fed machine is needed.

Wet sanding can extend disc life by keeping the pad cooler, but it requires specialized equipment and a water supply. Dry use is simpler, faster to set up, and keeps costs low while still delivering excellent results.

Why Non-Corrosive Diamond Discs?

Unlike traditional metal-bonded pads, our discs feature a non-corrosive diamond bonding matrix that won’t rust or react with pool water. This makes them ideal for both standard and saltwater pools. They deliver cleaner cuts, longer life, and consistent performance in every pass.
